FlowwynScope
This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy is for Washington, Nevada, and similar state laws. It covers health information linked or reasonably linkable to an individual, including health conditions, symptoms, treatment, medications, mental or reproductive health information, and health-related inferences Flowwyn generates. Flowwyn is not a health service, but your messages, files, imports, notes, or “About you” can contain information about your or someone else’s health. Our general Privacy Policy covers everything else.
What we collect and why
We collect health information only as part of the content you or your imports provide, and as a health-related label that Flowwyn’s automatic task labels can attach to a conversation. We use it to store your workspace, generate the replies you request, run safety checks, provide support, keep billing records (which do not contain chat text), and comply with law. We use the health-related label to keep those conversations out of improvement copies. The label can miss health content; if it does and sharing to improve Flowwyn is on, that content can be included in improvement copies as described in Privacy section 4. You can turn sharing off at any time in Settings → Your data → Privacy & data.
Sources
Sources are the messages, saved context, files, and imports you provide, which can include information about other people, and the health-related labels Flowwyn generates from them.
Who receives it
Health information can be received by the following, each only to perform its function for us: the AI model provider used for a request (OpenAI; Anthropic if the backup model is used; DeepSeek only if you opt in); content-screening services (OpenAI’s Moderation API and Waffo’s Prompt Sift); our hosting, database, backup, and email providers (OVHcloud, Supabase, Amazon Web Services, Vultr if we switch to our standby server, and Google for support email); and, only for content the health label misses while sharing is on, the AI review tools described in Privacy section 4 (Anthropic’s Claude and OpenAI’s Codex). Flowwyn has no affiliates. We do not sell consumer health data or use it for advertising.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm whether we hold your consumer health data, give you access to it, give you the list of third parties that received it and how to contact them, delete it, and withdraw any consent you gave. Email support@flowwyn.com with the subject “Health data request.” We respond within 45 days of receipt and may extend once by 45 days if we tell you why. If we deny a request, we explain why; you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing support with the subject “Privacy appeal,” and we answer appeals within 45 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General, including the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.
